The plot within this story was quite simple and nowhere near as involved or intricate as in the three earlier novels.Or was this rash of kidnappings something else altogether, like a sophisticated insurance scam or a weird, twisted prank that was the product of a sick mind? As a single woman, there is always the opportunity for romance and I was pleased the author left that opportunity open for Nicole, in the future.
