I like this book very much. As always - I still burn with Many Unanswered questions that bother me. His first book, from 2016, is called Between Two Worlds: Lessons from the Other Side. And I’m currently reading his second book which came out just a few months ago this year: Here and Hereafter: How wisdom from the departed can transform your life now. I was not surprised that my mom didn’t tell my dad about my premonition. With almost no understanding of the experience myself, my parents were even less likely to comprehend it. What did surprise me was one memory that replayed through my mind. It was of my mom grabbing her things and rushing through the door, heeding my warning without hesitation. Did she have a knowingness herself, that what I had said was true?

I want to rate this book at 5-stars, but then what would I give a book that tells us the meaning of life etc.?!How we should try to be more childlike if we want to develop our intuition – being open, receptive, nonjudgmental, removing bias, and allowing our imagination to soar. p.170 After we cross over - we discover how much we hindered ourselves. (I've prayed for God's help w/this and still hinder myself)

I recently bought two of Medium (yes, that kind of Medium!) Tyler Henry’s books (you may know him from his TV show Hollywood Medium from a few years ago — which I’ve never seen and had actually never heard of before being recommended his new Netflix series Life After Death with Tyler Henry which I wrote about here). I’d had no prior discussions with my family about souls being able to communicate after death. I didn’t know whether my parents would find my interaction to be comforting or disturbing, especially in light of having predicted my grandmother’s passing. I knew that both my parents attended church and that my extended family was deeply religious, with rigid beliefs. I struggled to fit my experience into their framework. If after death there is only heaven and hell, how was my newly deceased grandmother in my room?His memoir was a witty and relatable. Tyler genuinely wants to make a difference in people's lives that may be struggling after a friend or loved one has passed. It was really cool to hear about how each of his readings appears to be unique in nature. He is always discovering new signs and secrets. I was intrigued by this young man who comes across on TV, as a very authentic person, with a very loving and gentle energy/soul. Regardless of whether you believe in mediums or not, there are some great “takeaways” from this book that apply to living our life in the here and now. Also, if you have any interest in intuition, I would encourage you to read it. I was impacted by these topics: If there’s one overall theme I could take away, it’s to appreciate life in every moment and respond to challenges in a way that’s true to who you are, even if it’s the more difficult path. With the past stirring regrets, and the future provoking anxieties, it’s important that we live in the present moment. It is, after all, all there ever really is. For those who are unaware of who he is; Tyler is a self proclaimed medium with his own show. Speaking of his show- I am disappointed in it because I've only seen him give readings to celebrities. I guess it's about marketing. Perhaps "ordinary" people receiving readings wouldn't be lucrative for the show. I personally believe that God gifts each person with natural talents, some of which are very prevalent.
